For the better part of a decade, Drew Burmeister was an aircraft technician for Comair, Midwest Express, and Delta Airlines. Originally from Illinois, Drew studied Aviation Maintenance at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University before taking his first aircraft technician job in 1995. The effects of 9/11 on the airline industry led to Drew parting ways with aircraft mechanics. Drew immediately started attending the Lincoln Technical Institute for Automotive Repair after he returned to Illinois. His airline experience helped catapult him through the Lincoln program. Drew became an ASE-Certified Master technician before graduating from the institute. Drew’s commitment to excellence helped him earn a position as a used car technician while finishing school. This led to an internship at a local Acura dealer in December of 2004, where he became an Acura-Certified Master Technician. The next few years of dedicated service allowed him to perfect his skills. In 2009, he pursued his own ambition of owning and operating his own auto repair shop. In 2010, Drew opened The Pit Shop in Libertyville, a top-notch full-service import auto repair facility.

Owner Drew Burmeister is a Master Technician with over 15 years of automotive industry experience. After working at a large dealership for several years, and operating The Pit Shop since 2010, Drew started focusing his attention on all European import drivers.
